Insurance and claims

Can I choose my own body shop in California?

Yes. California law bars insurers from requiring you to use a particular repair shop. You can choose any registered body shop, including Fremont Elite Autoworks.

Will you talk to my insurance adjuster?

Yes. We send photos, estimates and supplements directly to your insurer and handle the back-and-forth with your adjuster.

What is a supplement?

A supplement is a documented addition to the estimate when hidden damage is found after panels come off. The insurer reviews and approves it before that work goes ahead.

Do I pay my deductible to you?

If you're claiming on your own collision coverage, you pay your deductible to the shop when you pick up the car, and your insurer pays the rest.

Who pays for towing and storage?

It depends on your coverage and fault. California's claims rules require insurers to pay reasonable towing and storage charges when they were needed to protect the vehicle.

Repairs and parts

Do you use OEM parts?

We push for genuine OEM parts on structural, sensor and European car repairs. When an insurer specifies non-OEM parts, California requires it to warrant they match OEM quality and fit.

Do you repair Teslas and EVs?

Yes. We have EV tools, follow high-voltage safety procedures, and calibrate cameras and sensors in house.

Are you certified for European cars?

Yes. We're certified for Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Porsche collision repair, and we repair all other makes too.

Do you do wheel alignment?

Yes, through a partner alignment company we work with, so you can get it done as part of your repair.

Do you replace windshields?

Yes. Our sister auto glass company has two certified technicians, and we do the camera calibration afterward in house.

Paint

How do you match paint so closely?

We read the actual paint with a spectrophotometer, fine-tune with spray-out test cards, and blend into neighboring panels so there's no visible edge.

Can you fix a bad paint job from another shop?

Usually, yes. We refinish the panel with a corrected formula and blend it into the surrounding panels.
